Description to the work: Ludwig Baumann was the last German Wehrmacht deserter and threatened with shooting - with great luck he survived. He was a convinced peace activist and never tired of repeating, live non-violently! This year in October the first Ludwig Baumann Prize will be awarded by the Carl-Ossietzky-Fonds. This has motivated me to portray Ludwig Baumann.
